Our Vision

Bharat Gaurav is working for the promotion, upliftment and betterment of different sections of the society and removal of social evils and upliftment of members associated. To promote education, to establish educational, professional and vocational institutions that would strengthen the developmental process, to disseminate information and knowledge, to edit, publish, and print literature and documents, maintain libraries, and to organize seminars/conference/meeting etc. To identify and work with the impoverished, weaker and vulnerable sections of the society to find solutions to the challenges threatening their lives with the ultimate aim of establishing an aware, responsible and developed society based upon equality, fraternity and social justice, ensuring sustainable and holistic development with emphasis on human rights, and a culture of social service through creating synergy and building strategic partnership with the Government, NGO's (non-government organizations), SHG's (Self help groups), CBO's (community based organizations) and various national and international organizations by planning appropriate downstream and upstream interventions.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives for which the society is established are the followings:-

  • 1. Promotion, upliftment and betterment of different sections of the society and removal of social evils.
  • 2. To promote education and awareness especially girl education.
  • 3. To promote participation of youth (unemployed as well as students) in income generation activities.
  • 4. To establish educational, professional and vocational institutions that would strengthen the developmental process.
  • 5. To organize lectures, seminars and workshops to help or strengthen the character building process.
  • 6. To spread awareness about STD and HIV/AIDS and work for the welfare of people living HIV/AIDS.
  • 7. To work in the field of reproductive and child health services.
  • 8. To create awareness about communicable and vector-borne disease control measures through better hygiene and sanitation.
  • 9. To encourage organ donation.
  • 10. To promote social welfare activities with special emphasis on women empowerment.
  • 11. To work for the betterment of weaker sections viz. SC/ST, women, children, senior citizens, and disabled etc. with a vision of social justice.
  • 12. To speed up the process of rural development and strengthen the agricultural, horticultural and animal husbandry sector.
  • 13. To form self help groups and cooperatives and run income generation activities by linking them with banks through micro-credit.
  • 14. To work for environmental awareness, sustainable development and participative management of local natural resources for village level development.
  • 15. To create awareness among peoples about functions and power of PRIs (panchayati raj institutions) and increase people's participation in democratic institutions.
  • 16. To fight against corruption and make people aware about their legal and consumer rights.
  • 17. To collaborate with corporate houses to fulfill their social responsibilities.
  • 18. To affirmatively coordinate with the state and central government in implementation of developmental schemes.
  • 19. To collaborate with sports clubs/youth clubs to fulfill their requirements and work for the betterment of sports sector.
  • 20. To organize and participate in religious activities.
